Dior unveils the Toujours bag in its vertical variation

A symbol of the house’s heritage, the new version of the Dior Toujours is reinvented in a vertical version. Key design markers like the CD clasp, macrocannage motifs and classic D, I, O, R charms still adorn the piece, making it a timeless classic. In terms of design, it has been well thought out. The bag comes with rounded handles and adjustable straps, making it multi-purpose. You can carry it as a handbag for a formal look and for a casual approach, it seamlessly converts into a cross-body bag.  The Toujours is available in two sizes medium and small sizes, and comes in a variety of colourways including black, powder beige, candy light pink, latte Dior and grey stone.

If you love the concept of maximalism in fashion, this luxury headline is for you! renowned personality,  Iris Apfel’s personal wardrobe is going up for auction at Christie’s. The auction will include 200 pieces from her collection including the late interior designer’s turquoise jewellery, a pink, red and yellow Carolina Herrera ensemble, and 18 pairs of eyeglasses. Christie’s will be conducting online bidding from January, 28 to February, 13.

Shifting our gaze to the Indian market, Vandana M. Jagwani, heiress to the Mahesh Notandass legacy, has unveiled a new concept store in Mumbai, Notan World. Making luxury headlines, the space is a confluence of art, design, and luxury with all three verticals of the Notandas legacy: Mahesh Notandass, Vandals and Notandas Realty, under one roof.

Designed in collaboration with architect Ayesha Puri Kanoria, the 2000sqft space features unique design elements. While it has restrained palette of oak wood, grey marble and white terrazzo, the space comes with as an interactive whiteboard wardrobe,  art on the bedroom ceiling and a  rainbow-tinted, 50-feet-long glass walk-in closet. Illumnating the space are skylights which bring an ethereal glow to this basement enclave,  digital art installations and modular, multi-coloured seating, showcasing her love for eclectic design.
