The world will soon see its first matching business jet and sports car set, courtesy of a design collaboration between two global companies – Embraer and Porsche. The two giants are set to create limited edition pairings of the Embraer Phenom 300E aircraft and Porsche 911 Turbo S car, both of which are known for their top-class engineering, performance, and design. The collaboration called Duet will only have 10 pairings.

Duet combines the signature styles of both the brands seamlessly, thereby creating a pairing that is defined by speed, style, luxury and power. The Embraer Phenom 300E is one of the most successful business jets of the past 10 years while the Porsche 911 Turbo S, known for its performance and usability sits at the heart of the automobile giant and is the gold standard for cars. The pairings feature a customised interior and paint scheme, the same exterior paint pallet, a special badge representing one of the ten units and the customer will get to choose the location of a blue-chip that would reflect their position among the ten delivered units, according to their preference. “This is the perfect marriage of car and jet, as personified by the exclusive collaboration logo. The logo brings together the aeronautical requirement of lift — depicted by the Phenom 300E winglet — with the automotive requirement of downforce — depicted by the rear wing of the flagship 911. To further solidify this symbiotic partnership, the aircraft registration number appears on both the car’s rear wing and the sides of its key,” said Jay Beever, Vice President of Embraer Design Operations.

Every aspect of design in both the jet and the car is reflective of this exquisite collaboration. For instance, the cockpit seats of the Phenom 300E were redesigned to match the car while the car is entirely hand-painted, which is unique to this project and reflective of the paint process of the Phenom 300E. Porsche also introduced a unique color combination for the steering wheel to match the aircraft’s yoke, while the sew style of the jet’s seats are patterned after the 911 Turbo S. This harmonious build and design technologies ensure that the transition from the on-road Porsche to the in sky Embraer is coherent. This exclusive set can only be purchased together and is now available for order. The deliveries however will only begin in 2021.
