Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium
The Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium edition is the latest addition to Samsung’s 4G smartwatch range and is the first one to be made in India. The watch is manufactured at the tech giant’s Noida facility and henceforth, all Galaxy smartwatches will be manufactured in the country.
Priced at ₹28,490, it will be available across retails stores and online portals starting July 11. Consumers can avail 10 per cent cashback and 6 months no-cost EMI offers till July 31, 2020.
The new watch adds to Samsung’s smartwatch portfolio, which boasts of three sizes, (42mm, 44mm and 46mm) and two unique design templates – elegant classic and modern minimalistic.
“The Aluminium edition of Galaxy Watch Active2 4G is our most affordable 4G watch now. It’s also the first smartwatch to be made in India. With Galaxy Watch Active2 4G, we have also started manufacturing our entire range of 18 smartwatches in India as part of ‘Make for India’ programme,” said Mohandeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 series has been Samsung’s fastest-selling watch variant till date and the new edition brings 4G connectivity to the line. Available in cloud silver, aqua black and pink gold variants, each watch can be customized with different watch straps and watch faces.
The 44mm watch has a Circular Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass DX+. The watch runs on Tizen OS. It has a 1.5GB RAM and 4 GB internal memory.

Apart from using the watch to attend to calls, messages, notifications and social media, the watch comes with 39 workout trackers built-in with many of them focusing on indoor workouts. It can also track your sleep and stress levels.
