It is natural to question — what really makes this drink so expensive? According to sources, the use of exquisite ingredients is attributed to the hefty price tag — and when we say exquisite we mean exquisite. Think Camus Cognac, exotic Japanese citrus fruits like yuzu and kumquat, the Grand Marnier Quintessence — which is pricier than Camus cognac — and even a shot of Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 year bourbon that costs around $6,000 per bottle, as well as Taylor’s Fladgate Kingsman Edition Very Old Tawny Port which is just over $3,000 per bottle.
The Disney Wish Disney is the newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line family and set sail in 2022. On the ship, the fantastical worlds and beloved stories from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar are brought to life like never before. Make your way to the space-inspired Star Wars Lounge, where you can sit back and sip on some out-of-this-world concoctions and tasting menus while being transported throughout the Star Wars galaxy.

This richly themed immersive bar is defined by the sleek metallic interiors that take inspiration from the lavish star cruisers similar to Dryden Vos’ ship in “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” While guests sip their galactic concoctions, the bar viewport, a widescreen, seven-pane window to the stars this space will transport them to iconic locations from the eras of the Republic, Empire and First Order, employing hyperspace jump to travel from planet to planet while sensational scenes unfold just beyond the ship’s panoramic viewport at each stop. Ranging from serene vistas to action-packed encounters, through the virtual window people can look into the galaxy that will feature famous space ships from the films and fan-favourite locales like Batuu, Tatooine, Mustafar and Coruscant. The experience will be amplified by surround-sound audio and a holotube that presents holographic models of nearby ships.

Designed by Danny Handke, the idea of the lounge came from his desire to hang out in Star Wars. In an interview, Danny Handke shared, ” We came up with this idea, ‘the Hyperspace Lounge.’ Think of it like a party ship through the galaxy. We’re jumping to different locations and getting a tour of space, and sampling amazing drinks from those different planets.”
A true haven for all Star Wars fans — and even those who aren’t are bound to fall in love.
