1. The Witcher 3: Wild hunt
Want to slay monsters in an open, free-to roam world, play as Geralt of Rivia and progress through the story, in which he tries to find his daughter who is on the run from The Wild Hunt, a force determined to capture her for her powers.
This title allows you to make your own choices throughout the game, ultimately leading you to multiple ends, and also lets you explore the open-world through a series of side quests as you work towards strengthening your character.

2. The Last of Us (Remastered)
Traverse through the post-apocalyptic United States, decimated by a mutant fungus that turns humans into cannibalistic creatures as you play Joel, a man tasked with smuggling Ellie, a teenage girl who was sent to a rebel camp.
The game is played from a third-person perspective and has received a great deal of praise for its intense and emotional storyline.

3. Red dead redemption 2
Live through 1899 and experience the decline of the Wild West. Playing as an outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van Der Linde gang, you fight off government forces, rival gangs, and other enemies.
This game has a vast, beautiful landscape for the player to explore. It also includes realistic gameplay mechanics that require you to maintain the health of your character in order to complete tasks and stay alive.

4. Horizon Zero Dawn
Explore a post-apocalyptic world overtaken by machines where humans live in tribes with limited access to technology. Play as Aloy, a hunter-gatherer who has been outcasted from her tribe of birth, and is on a quest to uncover her past.
Having attained numerous achievements for a great storyline, open-world design, visuals and characterization, the game had sold over 10 million copies by the start of 2019.

5. The Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Brought to you by the same creators of The Last of Us: Remastered, this action-adventure game is the 4th of the Uncharted series.
In this game, you play as Nathan Drake, a former treasure hunter persuaded out of retirement by his brother Samuel. You go on to seek out Henry Avery’s lost treasure, one of the only pirate captains in the world to escape with his loot without being arrested or killed in a battle.
