On August 1, The Aditya Birla Group announced the acquisition of full stakes of KA Hospitality. The group now owns chains like Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Nara Thai, CinCin. While CinCin is home-grown, KAH has franchise rights of the other three global restaurants brands. “We continue to believe in the remarkable potential of the premium casual dining space, spurred by rising disposable incomes and evolving lifestyles of the Indian consumer. The intersection of growing affluence and the desire for new-age, high-quality dining experiences presents an incredible growth opportunity,” said Aryaman Vikram Birla, Director, Aditya Birla Management Corporation Private Limited and Founder, ABNAH said. While Hakkasan, Nara Thai and Yauatcha are international brands, CinCin is a homegrown brand. Ā

The announcement of a new Mandarin Oriental hotel in Greece is big news — for it’s the first one in the country. Nestled within the luxury development of Costa Navarino in the Peloponnese region, it’s time to soak up the sun at this beachfront resort. A stunning addition to the picturesque landscape, the hotel is opening its doors on August 15.Ā 
The hotel boastsĀ ninety-nine rooms and suites, including forty-eight pool villas with sea-view terraces. And the amenities? Hugo Boss reports a 20% growth in Q2 salesĀ

Hugo Boss sales rose 20 per cent in Q2 and this brings the German premium brand’s sales to 1.99 billion euros for the first half of 2023. At the beginning of the year, Hugo Boss’ growth was expected at between 4 and 6 per cent. ā€œMomentum once again exceeded our own high expectations, despite the overall challenging and uncertain market environment,ā€ Hugo Boss chief executive officer Daniel Grieder said in a statement, adding that the plan was to make 2023 ā€œa new record yearā€ for the company.Ā

Prada just dropped a new beauty range of skincare and makeup that is as exciting as it sounds. Launched on August 1,Ā  the range features a variety of products including lipsticks, lip balms, eyeshadows, foundations, day and night creams, serums, cleansers, and makeup removers. The majority of the products are refillable, and the brand is also introducing multi-use beauty tools such as brushes and sponges for complexion, lips, and defining the eyes. This collection includes 26 different shades of ā€˜Monochrome’ lipstick with hyper matte and soft matte textures, six eyeshadow quads named ā€˜Dimensions’ that are inspired by classic Prada prints, a lip balm, 33 shades of ā€˜Reveal’ foundation that are AI-driven. The price range for the products starts from Ā£37 for a lip balm and goes up to Ā£315 for the face and eye serum.Ā

Dropping globally on September 4, the collection combines Federer’s love of classic style with Jonathan Anderson’s modern and innovative take on performance apparel.
