In the spotlight was His Highness Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, or Pacho, as he’s fondly known. A polo champion, philanthropist, and now the face of this regal collaboration, Pacho’s personal style and connection to the sport radiated throughout the evening. “This collection is a homage to my heritage and the rich traditions of Jaipur,” he shared with a smile, embodying the essence of the collection himself in an impeccably tailored jacket adorned with intricate Zardosi crest detailing.

The collection itself was chic and functional, a true celebration of Jaipur’s vibrant culture and history. Every piece was thoughtfully crafted, drawing inspiration from the majestic City Palace and the iconic Panchranga flag, which represents the royal family. The rich fabrics and luxurious textures added a sense of opulence, while the refined design elements gave it a modern yet effortless appeal. It was clear that this collection was more than just clothing, it was an ode to Jaipur’s legacy.

Among the standout pieces was a navy blazer that seamlessly incorporated architectural motifs from the palace. The limited edition collection featured the insignia of Jaipur’s royal family and had well-structured pieces in classic fall colours such as forest green and sepia. The craftsmanship was impeccable, and you could almost feel the grandeur of Jaipur’s past woven into the fabric. Paired with crisp white trousers, the ensemble perfectly captured the balance between royal sophistication and laid-back sports fashion that the U.S. Polo Assn. is known for.

U S Polo Assn. has been the biggest promoter of polo, around the world. With this association, the brand and I hope to bring the story of polo in India to the forefront. The collection and the campaign, both reflect not only my personal style but also my passion for polo and horses, including the indigenous Marwari horse of Rajasthan. Together, we hope to take the sport to new heights,” commented His Highness Sawai Padmanabh Singh on the launch.

The Marwari horse, an indigenous breed with deep connections with the royal lineage of Jaipur was the highlight of the evening, as two decorated studs rounded off the evening.
