Jimin from popular K-pop group BTS is Tiffany & Co.’s newest global house ambassador, following his appointment as Dior’s new ambassador in January. The singer is described as the perfect ambassador by the luxury jeweller as he has a unique style and worldwide influence to represent the brand as it marks a new chapter.
Dior to hold its first show in Mumbai

Making a wave in the luxury world is Dior’s recent announcement. The luxury brand will be holding its first-ever show in India at the iconic monument Gateway of India, Mumbai. The French Maison would also be focusing on Indian embroideries to pay homage and honour their long-standing collaboration with The Chankya School, a craftsmanship training hub for women. For me to show in India means also to celebrate the heritage of India in embroidery and how important [it is] in the fashion world,” Chiuri told BoF. She further said in the interview with BoF “I am doing this show for [the] love of this country, and how much they support my creativity. It is really something very personal.”
Live on a cruise ship for $30,000 per year

Life at Sea Cruises has opened bookings for its three-year voyage on the MV Gemini, which sets sail from Istanbul on November 1. The trip will cover over 130,000 miles and visit 375 ports across 135 countries and seven continents. According to a press release, the MV Gemini cruise ship has 400 cabins and room for up to 1,074 passengers. The cruise even offers payment options starting at $2,499 per month.
Hennessy X.O x Kim Jones: An artistic collaboration

Dior’s artistic director, Kim Jones and Hennessy have joined hands for a unique collaboration. The drop features a gold bottle holder, a decanter and a chic pair of brown-toned sneakers and the collection is said to go live on March 17. Limited to just 200 examples, the Hennessy X.O Masterpiece is priced at 25,000 pounds, customers can choose to buy pieces from the collection individually. The sneakers will retail for 620 pounds, while the Hennessy X.O limited edition 70cl will cost 200 pounds.

French footballer MBapper has joined forces with Oakley for a Signature Series collection of eyewear. As a Team Oakley athlete, the collaborative range blurs the line between fashion and lifestyle performance. The capsule includes four models that appear across a sophisticated colour palette of brown and gold. The collection will launch worldwide on March 20 via Oakley’s website
NASA debuts a new space suit worth $228 million

It seems like this week the luxury world is venturing to the moon. NASA debuted the Artemis III moon-walking prototype, the AxEMU, made by AXIOM. AXIOM was allocated US$228.5 to develop the suit. This prototype uses a dark grey cover material; the final version will likely be all-white when worn by NASA astronauts on the Moon’s surface.
Saudi Arabi’s NEOM to function completely on renewable energy

Saudi Arabi’s new project Neom, a USD 500-billion megalopolis is making headlines in the luxury world. The project is currently partially functioning on renewable energy and will entirely function on it soon. Neom is expected to have a population of nine million by 2045 and is 33 times the size of New York City.
