Kikli

Tucked inside the quiet grace of a restored heritage site in Connaught Place, Kikli by Chef Amninder Sandhu is her meticulous ode to the forgotten Punjab of home hearths, slow embers, inherited secrets and meals that were once a ceremony in themselves. She’s dug through royal records and village kitchens alike — from chutneys hand-ground in kundas to recipes never before released outside the Patiala royal family. Some now live inside Kikli’s kitchen, others within the space’s design language — and soon, many will be part of Kikli’s own carefully curated merchandise line.

After over a decade behind some of India’s best bars and brands, Jeet Rana and Chirag Pal have launched Barbet & Pals, a space shaped by stories, rooted in the land, and built for the now. The first seven cocktails are Jeet’s- playful, punchy, and full of mischief, including the OTP (the one SRK famously downed four of in one night),and the next seven come from Chirag- smooth, introspective, and quietly brilliant like Panache, inspired by a saffron-scented trip through Kashmir and Pals’ Lugdi, a Shimla hostel memory reborn in a cocktail glass, and Root Cause which is a cheeky nod to Jeet himself. Go for the cocktails, and stay for Chef Amninder Sandhu’s brilliant food program that’s just cherry on top.
