While picking a fragrance it’s often important to understand the notes you like but when picking a fragrance for someone else it can be a task. But with the growing concept of gender fluidity, the beauty industry is adapting to the idea. Today we see a range of fragrances that are gender-neutral. Over the years there has been an increase in such perfumes, here are some of the best ones.
Celine Bois Dormant
In 2019, Celine announced the introduction of 11 gender-fluid fragrances crafted by creative director Hedi Slimane. Nine of the scents launched that November as part of the house’s first fragrance line Haute Perfumerie followed by another at the start of 2022. This year, the final scent arrived with a distinctive profile inspired by one very famous London street, Mayfair.
Named Bois Dormant, the woody fragrance draws upon the designer’s penchant for Savile Row. The top note fragrances include bergamot and juniper berries and can be characterized as a light cologne with a strong sillage for daylong wear. With minimalistic packaging, the bottle looks like a dream.
