IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes’ Pilot’s watch is a collector’s delight
One common quality that binds IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG is their extreme focus on impeccable performance and craftsmanship. One is a luxury Swiss watchmaker and the other is the coveted German sportscar maker. The two have been in partnership since 2004 and this long-standing bond of 17 years gets yet another reason to celebrate.
Meet the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition “AMG” – IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes AMG’s latest addition to the world of high-end watches.

This sophisticated yet sporty Pilot’s Chronograph is IWC’s first 43mm model to feature the IWC-manufactured 69385 calibre. The watch has a polished grey case made of super-light, scratch-resistant Grade 5 titanium, which resembles AMG cars’ signature Selenite Grey Magno paint finish. A woven-patterned carbon fibre features on the watch dial. Also called graphite fibre, this strong but lightweight material is generally used in sportscars and aircraft.
What’s more reminiscent of the dynamic Mercedes-AMG cars is the watch’s visual contrast of silver, grey and black palette, which makes it a timepiece befitting for every style and occasion.

Pilot’s Chronograph is a self-winding model with a 46-hour power reserve. Its precise chronograph movement runs on an intricately powered column-wheel that allows stop time measurements of up to 12 hours.
