Russian company Caviar, which gives ultra-lavish, gold-plated makeovers to tech accessories and gadgets, is back with a fresh catalogue of products for 2021. The list includes Apple’s new AirPods Max, Sony PlayStation 5, Samsung Galaxy S21, and Nike Air Jordan sneakers – with every model generously coated with gold, diamonds, and genuine leather.
Golden Rock, Sony PlayStation 5
Caviar used around 20 kilograms of gold to create this spectacular version of Sony PS5. The gadget’s case has an almost 3D-like glossy gold texture. The brand says that the inspiration comes from the geometry of gold ore and the well-defined outlines of a rock. Logos of Caviar and PS5 both adorn the gadget, with the console made of crocodile leather and gold inserts for a flawless gaming experience.
Gold White and Gold Black, AirPods Max
Apple’s latest AirPods Max have been turned into a bejewelled masterpiece by Caviar’s gold-heavy craftsmanship. Made in two colour codes of white and black, the AirPods Max features crocodile leather and 750 gold in 18 karat. The exterior cover of the two speakers of the headphone model a lustrous golden texture, emphasising on a superior audio experience.
Victory Gold, Air Jordan trainers
Nike Air Jordans get an extravagant spin with Caviar’s solid gold and diamond version. The shoes feature hand-embroidered gold inserts with a v-shaped Nike logo on the sides and an exclusive ‘Caviar’ lettering. The laces are embellished with diamonds and the front has a perforated detailing. Limited to only 99 pieces, the trainers priced at Rs11 lakh (approx.) truly look like a rare collectible.
Complete details of Caviar’s version of Samsung Galaxy S21 are still awaited, since the smartphone is yet to be launched officially in the market by Samsung (on January 14, 2021). But as like the other three gadgets, Galaxy S21 is anticipated to be fully laminated in precious stones and gold and be available at a jaw-dropping price tag, for the lovers of rare and luxury.
