The Fleur Home by Crafted Spaces exudes elegance

By Anushka Manik

A home should be a haven of peace, reflecting one’s true personality, and,  well, we couldn’t agree more. For those keen on transforming their dwelling into a spectacular sanctuary, interior designers play a pivotal role. Enter Crafted Spaces, a Hyderabad-based design firm spearheading architecture and interior design projects, curated with style by Mitali Aharam.

Crafted Spaces recently worked its magic on The Fleur Home, a stunning 4,000 square-feet villa designed for a family of three. This corner abode, situated in a serene gated community in Hyderabad, underwent a complete transformation. Surrounded by lush greenery, the home exudes a perfect blend of minimalism and warmth, enriched with Indian aesthetics.

Upon stepping into The Fleur Home, your senses are immediately captivated by exquisite details that grace the surroundings. Two classical Chettinad wooden pillars, standing on a granite base, elegantly define the formal and dining spaces. Delicate black and white hand-painted artwork adorns the dining and entrance living walls, subtly introducing a touch of floral art.

The open-plan living area is seamlessly tied together by white rafters in the ceiling and white wainscoting on the walls. A refreshing pop of mint green infuses the kitchen cabinets, harmonizing with the green undertones of the marble flooring. Textured glazed backsplash tiles add depth to the space.

Retaining existing door frames, doors, and windows, each element was painted in a pristine white hue, complemented by flowing white linen curtains. A French door was thoughtfully incorporated into the dining area, providing access to the inviting lawn, while floor-length windows enhance the sense of openness.

On the ground floor, the guest bedroom boasts wardrobes featuring white embroidered fabric between glass panels and a beautiful two-poster bed. Ascending to the first floor, you’ll be greeted by abundant natural light in the common area. Two bedrooms and a sunroom, accessed through a French door, await your exploration. A balcony was cleverly fashioned on an unused slab projection, creating an enchanting space to unwind.

The sunroom on this level steals the spotlight, featuring a warm wooden sloped ceiling and a distressed white wooden day bed—a perfect retreat for coffee and reading. The master bedroom showcases a high wooden sloped ceiling, painted white, adorned with a subtly striking black and white wallpaper. The room is harmonized by white paneled wainscoting and a complementing white shiplap ceiling.

The daughter’s bedroom is a dreamy haven, featuring a floral hand-painted mural on the bed headboard and soft pastels with gold hand-painted birds on the study table wall and ceiling. The Fleur Home is truly a masterpiece of thoughtful design and artistic finesse.
