A look into Good Earth and Nicobar’s new pop-ups at Soneva Fushi, Maldives
India has become a breeding ground for fresh, upscale brands with innovative concepts and strong aesthetic identities that often infuse traditional Indian heritage into their designs. Now, the rest of the world has started to take an interest in such brands.
The latest exports are both Delhi-based clothing, décor and wellness brands that have made their way to a tropical paradise; on an atoll in the Maldives. Good Earth and Nicobar have launched pop-up stores in the gift shop of Soneva Fushi, a resort on the Maldivian island of Kunfunadhoo.

Nicobar, with its brand inspired by the idea of “journeys across the Indian Ocean”, was the natural choice for a store on an island in the Maldives. With an acute eye for design and sensory experiences, the space will showcase a collection of tropically infused clothing, home and travel lines that gives guests a taste of Nicobar’s wider product range.

On display is a resort-wear collection that’s perfect for island hopping and lounging on over-water hammocks, an exclusive, handcrafted capsule collection in collaboration with Aparna Chandra, travel essentials in some fascinating designs, and quirky gold-plated jewellery that will add another layer to any outfit.

Good Earth joins Nicobar’s display at Soneva Fushi and iterates its designs with a lavish touch of Indian and Asian heritage, underlined with modern and ancient inspirations. Ready with its bestsellers and classics, the eco-conscious brand introduces its eclectic creations to travellers and vacation lovers until November in a special pop-up at Soneva Fushi. The store at the Maldivian island has a line of handmade gifts, homeware, décor and even a breezy resort-wear line from the brand’s in-house label, Sustain. Its vivid art mastery comes alive in the finest utility items to discover and indulge in.
