The new iOS will feature an all-new lock screen experience where users can personalise their lock screen. Being a customization playground, it allows users to experiment with fonts, widgets, create 3D wallpapers, and much more. The lock screen features widgets that takes inspiration from Apple Watch complications, making it easy to get information at a glance, such as upcoming calendar events, the weather, battery levels, alarms, time zones, activity ring progress, and more. With multiple lock screens, users can even switch between their favourites with just a swipe.

The ultimate co-pilot as Apple calls it, CarPlay is a smarter, safer way to use your iPhone while you drive. You can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and enjoy your favourite music, all on your car’s built-in display. And CarPlay now features more app categories and custom wallpapers for your CarPlay Dashboard.
From predicting your destination, sending and receiving audio messages to quickly accessing the calendar app, Apple’s CarPlay also works with your car’s controls — knobs, buttons, touchpad or touchscreen. And the apps themselves have been reimagined for the car, so you can use them while driving safe.
