This annual celebration of timepieces transcends the conventional boundaries of watch exhibitions, transforming into a captivating journey where craftsmanship, technology, and style converge in perfect harmony.
Established under the leadership of Her Royal Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Watch Week 2023 was initiated by the Emirati watch retailer, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons. The 6th installment of this exhibition is all set to take place at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) from November 16 to November 20. The horological soiree is an opportunity for horological enthusiasts, industry aficionados, and fashion connoisseurs to come together and explore the latest creations.

Dubai Watch Week 2023 brings together over 50 brands spanning fashion, art, beauty, and watchmaking, alongside a distinguished lineup of speakers and exhibitors, all converging in a singular space and unveiling the future of timekeeping while paying homage to the timeless traditions that define their art. From technical intricacies to artistic expressions and philosophical perspectives, the event delves into questions about the codes of conduct in horology, the latest techniques in artistic watchmaking, and the possibility of acquiring fundamental watchmaking skills in just three hours. It’s an enlightening occasion designed to provide answers to these inquiries, contributing to the continual evolution of the horological landscape.
Participating brands at the Dubai Watch Week 2023
In honour of the artistic convergence inherent in horology, a diverse selection of brands, including Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Hublot, Chopard, Carl F Bucherer, Arnold & Son, Chanel, Breitling, Bulgari, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Grand Seiko, Maximilian Büsser and Friends, and TAG Heuer, and others will be participating in Dubai Watch Week 2023. The Manero Tourbillon Double Peripheral ‘Green Paradise’ by Carl F Bucherer is a one-of-a-kind interpretation of a limited-edition watch in black released earlier in 2023. Set against an 18-karat white gold case, this timepiece features a vibrant bezel adorned with 40 baguette-cut 3.9-carat tsavorites, sapphires, and rubies arranged in a seamless rainbow formation. The dial boasts 11 additional gemstones, precisely color-matching those on the bezel. The interplay of colors makes a joyful yet subtly intriguing statement against the dark green dial and strap.

Duke by Vianney Halter watch is the second series in the young brand’s portfolio to date. The case, meticulously fashioned in stainless steel or tantalum, features a distinctive asymmetrical shape that captures attention. The complexity of the case design is a nod to the brand’s avant-garde approach, making the Duke a conversation piece and a wrist-borne marvel.

In the illustrious fleet of Rolex timepieces, the Yacht-Master stands as an icon of nautical sophistication and precision craftsmanship. Crafted in robust materials such as stainless steel, rose gold and platinum, the watch is a robust companion for the high seas. With the rotatable bezel and the Perpetual Caliber 3135, the Yacht-Master ensures accurate timekeeping even in the most challenging conditions.

Encased in polished stainless steel, the Grand Seiko SBGY007 boasts the Spring Drive Caliber 9RA, ensuring not just accuracy but a remarkable 120-hour power reserve. The Zaratsu-polished case and meticulous dial details showcase the brand’s commitment to precision and innovation.

Crafted in platinum, the Globetrotter by is a horological masterpiece by Arnold & Son. With a 45mm case housing the A&S6022 movement, it seamlessly combines opulence with precision. The world-time indication on its intricately detailed dial transforms it into a navigational tool for global enthusiasts. Limited in number, this platinum edition is not just a watch; it’s a collector’s statement, embodying Arnold & Son’s legacy of innovation and exclusivity.
