Anita Dongre and Paperless Post collaborate to launch digital wedding invitations

Known for weaving conscious living and age-old arts and crafts in her beautiful apparels, Anita Dongre is a designer who spearheads eco-friendliness. Taking another green step, she has now collaborated with Paperless Post, a design-driven e-commerce company.

The idea behind this is to bring the artistry of her beautiful wedding designs to life. As part of the partnership, a bespoke collection of digital invitations are designed for the ceremonies that are part of traditional Indian weddings.

The exquisite collection has 11 sets of beautifully designed invitations with a mélange of stunning floral and botanical motifs in pretty hues of muted pinks, powder blues, mint greens, fresh peaches, chirpy yellows and bold tangerines.

Each set includes specific invitations for each event that makes the Indian wedding tradition so special. As with all Paperless Post’s designer collections, these invitations by Anita Dongre are customisable. An easy-to-use online design tool can be used to personalise these designs.

The collection is digital in line with Anita Dongre’s core values, which is making this an environmentally conscious way to share the special milestone of marriage in a person’s life.

Paperless Post in the past, has collaborated with international design maestros such as Oscar de la Renta, Kate Spade New York and Kelly Wearstler. An exciting feat for Dongre, is that this collaboration marks the first time the company has partnered with an Indian designer.
