M8 sports coupe
The M8 coupe has four-litre, eight-cylinder BMW Twin Power Turbo petrol engine, which is among the most powerful V8 engines developed by the brand. It can produce an output of 600 hp and maximum torque of 750 Nm at 1,800 – 5,600 rpm. The car takes a mere 3.3 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 kmph.

To ensure its sportiness, the two-door M8’s driver and front passenger seats are positioned in a lower arrangement and the controls are grouped into clusters according to their function. The seat’s centre section has a hexagonal embroidery while the headrest comes with an illuminated ‘M8’ logo.
To enhance the vehicle’s look, there are optional offerings such as M seat belts, M Carbon engine cover, M Sport exhaust system, M Carbon ceramic brakes and M Driver’s Package.

Both the cars have the latest BMW Operating System 7.0 that includes 3D Navigation, a 12.3 inch digital instrument display behind the steering wheel and a 10.25 inch Control Display.

8 series Gran Coupe

This four-seater car is quite spacious and comes with a large panoramic sunroof that extends into the rear. It is powered by a BS six complaint, three-litre six-cylinder petrol engine that generates an output of 340 hp and maximum torque of 500 Nm at 1,600 – 4,500 rpm. The car accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in just 5.2 seconds.

When viewed from the side, the long wheelbase, the flowing roofline and wide wheel arches create a dynamically stretched silhouette underlining the car’s length.
Both the cars have a host of safety features like eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission, six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electric parking brake with auto hold.
