Christian Dior gives a makeover to the good, old Vespa and the result is beyond glam

The iconic Italian brand Vespa has collaborated with French luxury giant Dior to introduce the most stylish scooter ever. Both of these European brands were founded in 1946 and share their taste for the finest designs. They have now teamed up to blend their historic legacies. Vespa 946 Christian Dior is a limited edition scooter that is manufactured in Italy.
Maria Grazia Chiuri, Christian Dior’s creative director has redesigned this model as a contemporary take on Piaggio’s first Vespa 946 model launched back in 2012 in Milan.

It features monohull architecture and subtle graphic lines. The colour scheme follows an elegant navy blue and white pattern. A touch of gold lining gives this retro design a modern edge. The Iconic Dior Oblique motif which was designed by Marc Bohan in 1967 is printed on the saddle. A set of matching accessories such as a helmet, a top rack and Dior’s book tote feature the same pattern and can be bought separately from Dior boutiques.
This iconic scooter is a symbol of the union between two dynamic brands that share the same love for refinement and commitment towards the luxury industry.
Chiuri was inspired by the image of Audrey Hepburn driving through the streets of Rome with Gregory Peck in the movie Roman Holiday. This version of the Vespa highlights the spirit of freedom, movement, and expression which both brands hold dear.
