Creed opens its first flagship in India at The Chanakya, New Delhi

The House of Creed, the illustrious French haute parfumerie with a legacy spanning over 260 years, has unveiled its first flagship boutique in the country at The Chanakya, New Delhi, marking a momentous arrival in India’s luxury landscape. This marks the beginning of a new olfactory pilgrimage- one that spans seven generations, European royal courts, and now- the discerning noses of India.

Known globally for cloaking emperors, aristocrats, and icons in invisibly powerful auras, Creed’s creations are nothing short of olfactory heirlooms. The Delhi boutique curates its most celebrated signatures: the cult-favourite Aventus, a bold scent born of Napoleonic ambition; the crisp, mineral-laced Silver Mountain Water; the verdant, aristocratic Green Irish Tweed; and Aventus for Her, a sensual ode to modern femininity.

Visitors to the Delhi boutique can also indulge in personalised luxuries, including in-store perfume engraving and an exclusive curation of body care and lifestyle offerings, available only at this location.

Bespoke experiences unfold in velvet-lined, marble-draped intimacy. With its first floor address at Yashwant Place Commercial Complex, the boutique brings the full weight of Creed’s legacy- dating back to 1760: into a sleek, immersive format, tailored for India’s evolving luxury landscape.

“We aim to share a legacy built over seven generations, and invite a new audience to embrace the quiet power of scent”, quotes Mr. Erwin Creed, House of Creed. This India debut marks a significant milestone in Creed’s partnership with LUXASIA.

“We are proud to partner with Creed Fragrances for this new chapter of growth in India. LUXASIA has been bringing the brand’s artisanal creations closer to our Asia Pacific consumers since 2003, with this relationship beginning in Singapore”, says Mr. Satyaki Banerjee, CEO, LUXASIA Group.

Arguably the most iconic and best-selling scent in the House of Creed’s history, Aventus was crafted by sixth-generation master perfumer Olivier Creed in collaboration with his son, Erwin Creed. It was designed to embody the spirit of strength, power, success, and legacy.

Inspired by the life of Napoleon Bonaparte, Aventus channels the dynamism of a conqueror, the romanticism of a dreamer, and the charisma of a legend. From the battlefield to the boudoir, Aventus was created for the modern man who commands presence.

Five years later, Creed followed with Aventus For Her: a radiant, floral-woody interpretation that celebrates powerful femininity. While it shares the same DNA of strength and elegance, it leans into green apple, patchouli, sandalwood, and rose- bold, yet beguilingly soft. At the new Creed boutique in The Chanakya, Aventus and Aventus For Her take pride of place in the signature wall: available in multiple sizes, and enhanced with services like personalised engraving and gifting consultation, making each bottle a keepsake of triumph.

Creed’s arrival is timely. As India’s luxury market becomes increasingly experience-led, the desire for rarity, ritual, and refined storytelling is at an all-time high. And few houses narrate heritage with the quiet grandeur that Creed does, where every spritz echoes with galloping horses, handwritten letters, and secret gardens.
