Sundays are undoubtedly the best days of the week. Lazy for some, productive for others;  it’s a day to unwind and spend time with yourself and those you care about. As an added bonus…. for most of us Sundays double up as cheat days and calories don’t count. While some use the kitchen as a stress buster, others prefer to venture out and try a new locale in the city. Find yourself leaning towards the latter? Then what better than spending the day enjoying a lavish brunch? If you (just like us) need an excuse to stop counting those calories and eat delicious food to your heart’s content, make your way to these restaurants in Delhi for brunch.

People of Tomorrow is one of Delhi’s first vegan restaurants that serves up lip-smacking dishes. From tacos to pizzas, health bowls to pasta, whatever you name, there is a vegan option at this brunch paradise. What’s more, not only is the food a delight but the rustic and earthy interiors complement the food to perfection. Wooden furniture is punctuated with accents of pastel shades of green and brick walls that add a dash of colour.

Let’s admit it, pizza makes everything better. So, on a Sunday, when all you really want are indulgent pizzas for brunch, make your way to Fat Lulu’s. The summer menu features a Mango Buratta salad that is a must-try. We also recommend the jalapeno pepperoni pizza and pull-apart garlic bread that oozes with cheese. And for all vegetarians, spinach and ricotta ravioli is non-negotiable.

A new restaurant by architect and interior designer Neha Gupta opened earlier this year, making this her second culinary venture after Beyond Designs Bistro. Offering a relaxed and elegant dining affair, the restaurant presents a delectable mix of European, Asian and Coastal cuisines from Vietnam and Sri Lanka which are modern and experimental. There are several sweet and savoury offerings to pick from including salads, Hong Kong ginger fish to Caramelized dry Vietnamese chicken, prawn linguini to Sliced lamb in hoisin sauce. However, for a memorable brunch, we recommend the avocado board and homemade Thai-flavoured hot dog. End on a sweet note as you try the raspberry pie, chocolate cake or apple crumble.
The interiors are a youthful mélange of contemporary styles accentuated with colourful and quirky art and a fun bunch of lights made of steel and fiber.
