Yesterday, Italian sports bike maker, Ducati, declared that customers can now pre-book the all-new Panigale V2 ahead of its launch in India at the starting price of Rs1 lakh currently. The official launch will be next month.
The new Panigale V2 has a stylish design, in line with the classic Ducati superbike flair. It is available in two colours; Traditional Ducati Red and novel White Rosso livery.
It has single-sided aluminium swingarm and compact twin-cylinder Superquadro engine that makes it quite leaner compared to the Panigale V4. At the front, there are two large air intakes. The front headlight assembly has a full-LED headlight; a daytime running light and two small low beams. Also, the front and rear parts feature LED indicators. The newly designed ducts boost intake efficiency.

This model has a ‘dual-layer’ flaring configuration. The main layer extends upwards, merging into the tank through two sturdy struts and the second layer acts as an air vent. The tail is built on a steel Trellis subframe lined with plastic covers. It has a wing-shaped full-LED tail light. This model elevates the traditional Ducati Red livery with V4- inspired black 5-spoke wheels.

The crankcases are vacuum die-cast with Vacural® technology. The transmission consists of a six-speed gearbox with the Ducati Quick Shift up/down EVO 2 system.
The new seat has improved foam, raising it by 5 mm, making it more comfortable for riders. 43 mm Showa BPF fork, a Sachs steering damper and the new Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires take this model to the next level.

It makes use of high-tech electronics, having a 6-axis inertial platform that detects the bike’s roll, yaw and pitch angles.
