Located in the upscale DLF Camelias in Gurugram, the project is a spacious 3-bedroom apartment spanning 7,400 sq. ft. Using an elegant neutral base as its inspiration, the project uses a diverse palette of materials and textures, sported by high-end amenities.
Stylish and luxurious, the interiors border on minimal aesthetics setting off the theme of the house. Sparkling with symmetric elements and patterns, the apartment has a divided dark and light theme spread across the entire space. Among the many materials, marble and veneer have been extensively used, making the space luxurious and extravagant.

One of the largest spaces in the house is the family lounge area, which has mostly bright neutral hues. Muted colours like beige, white, and cream, tones are complemented by striking gold elements. A duo of statement chandeliers, hanging off the ceiling, add a bit of edge to the strictly contemporary space, while a set of bright blue armchairs bring in a pop of colour.

A box-like feature, outlined by sliding glass doors with a gold design, separates the lounge and dining areas. The glass door feature is a clever use of space and is perfect for private intimate meals. Furnished with cream leather seats and a dark marble table it main maintains the neutral colour story of the living room. Adding opulence to the dining room is another statement crystal chandelier.

Contemporary style
The bedrooms are all spaciously designed with ensuite bathrooms. Two of the three rooms have a cool grey theme, while the guest bedroom is painted in warm cream and brown tones. The rooms are accentuated with striking wall art and statement decor pieces that break the sombre contemporary look, while adding a hint of elegance and style.

One of the notable designs in each bedroom is an artistically designed wall. While the master bedroom plays with grey veneer planks, the guestroom has a plush leather wall combined with brown veneer and gold plating accents.

The all-white kitchen is another striking highlight of the apartment. Extremely modern in style, the kitchen has a clean, simplistic design, with everything located within arm’s reach. The best of technology showcases itself here with modern kitchen amenities.

A canvas of design
One can notice a clever use of statement pieces and custom creations spread across the apartment. Founders of Essentia Environments, Hardesh and Monica Chawla, refer to the home as a canvas for fine creations. “The home is a canvas for the finest materials, exquisite furniture, custom designed and created in-house by us, and quirky, eye-catching art. From an imposing entrance and lavish, yet warm living quarters, every space defines the personality of the homeowners.”

Canvassing the materials, the designers add, “We use an eclectic mix of materials — an array of fine quality marbles, wood veneers, metallic accents. The same stone has been throughout the apartment for flooring, while the bathrooms have been designed using different tones and themes of stones.”
