JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has launched an exclusive Pop-up called “BarQat – Culinary Fables of Awadh” offering a mindful dining experience under the starlit skies of JW Café. Created by Chef Asif Qureshi, the menu concludes an elaborate journey of authentic spices, flavours, and ancestral recipes using traditional cooking techniques from regal Lucknowi kitchens. Using a mixture of hand-ground spices, the menu features signature dishes such as Hamari Dal Makhani, GoshtKhusk Purdah, Purvanchal Ka Saag, Noor Mahal Biryani, and sweet dishes like Sevaiyon Ka Muzaffar and Warm Dodha Barfi.

While Dashanzi is known for its stylish décor and breathtaking sea views, Sidecar is popular for its bespoke bar experience. Mixing these two together, JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu has a collaborative pop-up with a taste of Sidecar’s signature concoctions, crafted by the master bartender Yangdup Lama himself, alongside the famed Asian-style fare of Dashanzi. The menu comprises of four of Sidecar’s signature concoctions – Measure of Substance (Makaibari First Flush infused light blend of scotch, eucalyptus honey and B&G ginger pepper bitters), Agony of the Leaves (Makaibari Summer Solstice sous vide Bianco Vermouth, London Essence Co. tonic water and lemon peel), Zing Thing (gin, aromatic bitters, pink grapefruit and hibiscus cordial) and Beer Brewer (roasted barley infused scotch whisky, wheat beer and vetiver).
