Flydubai business class suites with sliding doors by November 2023

If you wished to have a little extra privacy and comfort on your next long-haul flight, we have some great news. Flydubai is introducing new business class suites which come with their own sliding door. Yes, this means one can have a secluded cabin, without trespassers peeking in and with direct access to the aisle!

The airline is creating new seats in collaboration with Safran Seats and JPA Design, which are known for their impeccable inflight interiors. Flydubai’s Business Class will have a total of 10 suites with direct aisle access. Commenting on the new launch, Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at Flydubai, said: “Flydubai is committed to exceeding expectations. We have come a long way since the introduction of our first Business Class offering in 2013, which has served us well. Today, we are proud to unveil a new premium product which rivals the Business Class experience offered by many airlines on wide-body aircraft.”

Daniel Kerrison, Vice President of Inflight Product at Flydubai, said: “The new business suite will take comfort on board to the next level. The increased height of the back shell, a sliding suite door and direct aisle access for every passenger create a level of privacy never before seen on Boeing 737s.” Can we say that this is the ultimate that we had been long dreaming of? It definitely seems so.
Amenities in the Business Class Suites
With muted hues gracing the interior, each suite is equipped with a sliding door along with lie-flat seats for those looking to get some shut-eye. The high-walled space also features plenty of storage to reduce clutter. From a fully-closed suite experience to a more traditional open-plan seat for greater social interaction, passengers will be able to choose their own level of privacy based on their mood. Adding to the aura is the ambient lighting on every seat to ensure a relaxing ambience can be recreated. But the most important is inflight entertainment. With new technology, inbuilt Bluetooth allows the use of personal headphones with a 17-inch 4K built-in touchscreen. So do away with the woes of using airline earphones that don’t always give you phenomenal sound quality. And not to forget… an array of delicious meals and snacks from an internationally inspired menu completes the inflight experience.

But the best part is that you won’t have to wait too long to enjoy this leisurely experience. The Business Suite will be introduced around November next year and will be available on up to six aircraft by the first quarter of 2024 on select longer flights.
