Givenchy x Disney

On March 17, luxury house Givenchy and Disney launched a limited-edition capsule designed by Creative Director Mathew M Williams. The first collection of an ongoing series takes inspiration from Disney’s most iconic characters. Featuring five T-shirts (priced at US$595) and two hoodies (priced at US$790, classic Disney iconography and character silhouettes accompanied the Givenchy signatures.

75th Cannes film festival

Kick-starting the Cannes film festival on May 17, Bollywood and Hollywood actresses brought their A-game to the red carpet. From Deepika’s striped Sabyasachi saree to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan completing her 20th year at Cannes; and Tamannahh and Urvashi Rautela making their debut, it truly was a glamourous affair. This is also the first year that Bollywood star Deepika Padukone is a jury member.
BMW launches 2023 3 seriesÂ

BMW has launched the 2023 3 series model with interesting design upgrades like an angular bumper and sleeker LED headlights. Uniquely attractive and sporty proportions, astonishing dynamics, state-of-the-art technology as well as an exceptionally spacious interior make the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine a masterpiece of modern luxury. The new model has a wider and longer stance with a massive 15-inch tilted infotainment screen and a 330e that uses a four-cylinder and electric motor, amongst other features.
Hublot X Samuel Ross

Samuel Ross made his first foray into watchmaking as he joined hands with Hublot for the limited-edition Big Bang Tourbillon. Samuel Ross is limited to just 50 pieces.â In a bright shade of orange, the watch features the distinctively stylized hexagon of the Big Bang case reflected in the titanium honeycomb mesh used on the sapphire dial, case, caseback and strap.â Incredibly lightweight, with motion in mind, its silhouette is lean and imposing.
Hyatt announces the opening of an island-retreat Alila Kothaifaru Maldives

An all-pool-villa resort, Hyatt announced the opening of Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, a private island retreat located in the picturesque Raa Atoll at the northern edge of the Maldives. With over 80 pool villas, the guests can immerse themselves in a luxurious world amidst nature. The resortâs elegant minimalist architecture by Singapore-based Studiogoto encompasses terraced pavilions, villas and a treetop spa that are carefully integrated into the existing landscape to immerse guests in the picturesque natural surroundings. The low-rise structures and contemporary interiors feature open-air spaces and a calming palette of island-inspired colours and textures, creating an idyllic setting for complete relaxation and connection with nature.
Rare 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera sold at Sothebyâs

In an auction that took place on May 14, in Monaco, Sothebyâs auctioned an ultra-rare 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight for a whopping 1,287,500âŻEuros. The model was initially created as a result of Porscheâs effort to create a 911 for FIA Group 4 competition in the early 1970s. While the requirement was pegged at 500 examples, Porsche ended up producing 1,580 units of the 911 RS 2.7 in 1973 due to the growing demand. Â
