With travel taking a major hit in the last few years, there were only a handful of places across the globe that welcomed international travellers. Dubai was one of the cities open to foreigners making it a popular vacation spot, especially for those in India. The distance is covered within a 3–4-hour flight making UAE extremely accessible.
As the inflow of tourism boomed in Dubai, new tourist spots developed in the town that exudes luxury and opulence. From restaurants to museums and experiential zones, there was something new the city offered at every corner.

However, one standout opening remains that of the Museum of Future. A seven-floor building with contemporary architecture that has no visible columns and corners, the structure is one of the most unique buildings in the world. It is one of the most talked about tourist attractions. It is advisable to book a slot well in advance given that it is usually booked out for weeks together

Each experience zone is carefully curated to cover the future of space travel and living, climate change and ecology, health, wellness and spirituality.
Acknowledging the fact that technology has the power to transform and change the way we live, the innovation at the museum explores how designers, researchers and corporations are responding today to our most urgent challenges.
Bringing together innovation with creativity, the artistic structure will leave you awe-struck at first sight. Unconventional in design, the oval-shaped structure is decorated with inspirational quotes in Urdu by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum pave the way to a brighter future. Made with iron and glass, the building from the inside world gives you a glimpse of the outdoors. The main theme of the museum revolves around the larger question – What can we expect the next decade to bring? So take a glimpse into the future and what the world beholds for us as you step into this miraculous one-of-a-kind experience.

The Museum of the Future (MOTF) takes the experience to a new level as it encourages visitors to use all five-senses to participate in what the future might hold for us. As the name suggests, the MOTF highlights through experience what lies in store for humankind in the coming years. Focusing heavily on technology and how the world has changed using technology, the museum seamlessly transports you into a futuristic vision of the world.
One of the key themes is a fascinating journey into space in 2071 with technology that will leave the ordinary layperson in awe. Voyage into the space station 600 km above the earth. Gaze out of the window and witness how the moon could be transformed into a source of renewable energy for the entire planet. Go a step further as you explore the space station and learn about the community of Pioneers living and working there. Observe the missions they undertake, study the things they invent and discover, and gaze upon the inspiration for it all – our beloved planet Earth. Or channel your inner creative side as you dive into an immersive experience as you view the interactive installations that play with shadow, light and sound

Travel to a sanctuary from digital life. Explore a centre for the human senses where you are encouraged to disconnect from technology and reconnect with your mind, body, and spirit.
For a calming effect, head to the experiential zone and immerse yourself in vibrations that rebalance electromagnetic fields and restore natural rhythms, or gaze beneath a dome of light and water, place the present on pause and imagine what could be.

There is also a dedicated area for children, Future Heroes where children are encouraged to develop future-proof skills that will come in use in the future. The exhibitions are designed around three main experiences: Imagine, Design and Build present children with opportunities to play and to learn through activities that encourage communication, collaboration, and creativity.
