Kiara Advani debuts Manish Malhotra bespoke diamond jewellery for her D-day

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s wedding day has been awaited by many. While the couple didn’t disclose their relationship they tied the knot on February 7. The couple had an intimate celebration at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The palatial property boasts stunning views and an immersive luxury experience perfectly fitting the bill for the couple. The festivities took place from February 4-7 and saw a slew of B-town celebs arrive at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace. Several celebrities such as Shahid and Mira Kapoor, Karan Johar and more.

Although Kiara Advani was spotted arriving in Jaisalmer alongside Manish Malhotra one couldn’t wait to see what the star wore for her D-day. The couturier has also supposedly designed 150 custom outfits for the bride and groom and their families for their big day, along with the duo’s wedding outfits. The couple took to Instagram to announce their wedding and captioned it with a dialogue from their film ‘Shershaah, “Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai.”

Sidharth Malhotra kept it simple and opted for a cream sherwani while Kiara gave wedding wear a refreshing twist. Looking like a breath of fresh air, her pastel pink lehenga was teamed with jewellery by Manish Malhotra. Breaking away from the traditional polki jewellery, she opted for diamond and emerald jewels to break the monotony. It was evident that the star swears by the designer for both her outfit and jewellery.

Kiara stunned in a custom ombre Manish Malhotra Lehenga in hues of empress rose. The lehenga featured intricate embroidery detailing of roman architecture, inspired by the special love the newlyweds share for the city of domes. Real Swarovski crystals were used to embellish the ensemble and add signature sparkle.

On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra opted for the perfect amalgamation of whimsical and dreamy in a custom Manish Malhotra creation. Exuding old-world charm, Sidharth wore a metallic gold sherwani with an exquisite royal lustre. The sherwani featured the designer’s classic signatures — hints of ivory threadwork, gold zardozi and badla work, handcrafted with utmost finesse.

Manish Malhotra has been dressing the who’s who in Bollywood for three decades plus and recently also forayed into the world of jewellery with Manish Malhotra Polki Jewellery by Raniwala 1881. He recently announced a new venture  Manish Malhotra Bespoke Diamond jewellery that is launching in March 2023 and shared that “The code of modern heirloom has changed and never ever has the excitement of fashion been more closely in fine jewellery.” He further said, ” In my 32-year-long journey from fashion to films and haute couture, gems stones carved a way in my designs and now it’s time for the next chapter.”
