Luxury brands are throwing Diwali parties, & we’re all invited
This year, luxury brands aren’t just joining the Diwali party; they’re throwing one. Take Bvlgari, which marked its first-ever global Diwali campaign, Passing the Light, with an immersive showcase at Jaipur Centre for Art. At its heart was an installation by artist Doyel Joshi, who reimagined our diya through 4,500 hand-sculpted terracotta elements arranged in the house’s iconic Serpenti-inspired form. Jimmy Choo, meanwhile, brought its Diwali story to Mumbai this year, while Chanel turned up the sparkle with Sparkle This Diwali with Ananya Panday.
Read on for a catch-up with all the luxury Diwali campaigns bringing the drama this year, and then some.
Burberry’s Diwali capsule

Burberry is giving its signature British codes a Diwali-ready makeover with a capsule collection – think vineyard red, chocolate brown, heritage checks and a generous dose of texture, brought together across bags, scarves, capes and menswear. There’s a quilted velvet Vanity bag, a wool-cashmere cape, a cashmere-silk blend woven with metallic fibres, and even a little sparkle worked into the house’s iconic Knight motif.
Cartier’s baby panther ft. Diwali

In Cartier’s festive film, the baby panther follows the glow of fireworks, diyas and lanterns on a whimsical journey that ends with a lantern lighting up the night sky. But the storytelling doesn’t stop at the screen. Cartier has also collaborated with New Delhi-born artist Sukanya Ayde, whose practice draws on traditional Indian miniature painting, to create handcrafted boutique window displays in New Delhi and Mumbai. Inspired by Rajasthan’s palaces, the installations feature intricate arches, carved columns and festive scenes illuminated by warm hues.
Christian Louboutin’s Art Deco afterglow

Christian Louboutin’s annual India-inspired festive offering arrives this year as Rayon de Lumière (French for ‘ray of light’) and takes its cues from the architectural conversation between Paris and Mumbai. Think Art Deco geometry, high-shine finishes and a dramatic black-and-gold palette, translated into five women’s shoes, three men’s shoes and two handbags. The designer’s long-standing fascination with India – its colours, crafts, textiles and distinctive light is at the heart of the collection, and each piece carries an ‘édition limitée’ stamp, making it a collectible little ode to the season.
Jimmy Choo: A Diwali in Full Glitter

If Diwali is your excuse to go all out with the sparkle, Jimmy Choo clearly gets the memo. This year, the luxury house brought its festive campaign to Mumbai, giving its Diwali story a distinctly Indian backdrop while letting its signature high-octane glamour do the talking. The accompanying 2026 capsule is a celebration of all things that shine, with a palette of rich reds and luminous golds running through five shoe styles and five bags from its BON BON and SWEETIE families. You’ll find statement heels, glistening finishes and accessories that are hardly interested in playing it safe at those card parties.
Bvlgari: Passing the Light

Passing the Light, the Roman maison’s first-ever global Diwali campaign, reimagines our diya through the creative lens of Indian artist Doyel Joshi. Unveiled at Jaipur Centre for Art, the installation features 4,500 hand-sculpted terracotta elements inspired by traditional earthen lamps and arranged in the unmistakable scale-like pattern of Bvlgari’s Serpenti motif. Created in collaboration with the traditional kumhar community and local craftswomen, the work is as much a tribute to the hands behind the craft as it is to the festival itself. The campaign’s accompanying film traces the journey from earth to kiln to finished artwork, drawing a beautiful parallel between generations of Indian pottery traditions and the savoir-faire of Bvlgari’s Roman ateliers.
Chanel’s Sparkle This Diwali

Chanel’s Sparkle This Diwali is making a strong case for leaving subtlety at the makeup table. Fronted by the house’s first Indian brand ambassador, Ananya Panday, the campaign leans into luminous skin, shimmering gold eyes and a statement red lip. The edit brings together a selection of Chanel favourites like the Les Beiges Eyeshadow Palette in Golden, Baume Essentiel in Rosée, Joues Contraste Intense in Rose Radiant and Rouge Allure in Pirate. ‘Cuz is it even Diwali if you’re not going all out?
