This week’s luxury news updates include a new collaboration between Absolut and HUEMN. Pranav Misra, Co-founder & CEO, Huemn said, “The collaboration between Absolut and HUEMN is a celebration of creative expression and the power of inclusivity. The collection will showcase innovative designs that challenge norms, inspire self-expression, and ignite conversations about the rich tapestry of human existence.” Together, they’ve created a collection featuring an iconic print crafted in a hand-drawn style, it celebrates the power of self-expression and inclusivity.  The design encapsulates the notion of 8 billion unique flavours, symbolizing the diverse tastes and idiosyncrasies of the 8 billion individuals on Earth and embracing the magic that happens when all these flavours come together. The capsule collection delves into HUEMN’s distinctive designs, featuring an iconic print crafted in a hand-drawn style that characterizes HUEMN’s anthropocentric identity. It combines the fundamental principles of both brands.  
Asia’s 50 best bars  

There are exciting luxury news updates in the F&B for this week. Earlier this week, the list of Asia’s 50 best bars was revealed, and nine Indian bars made it to the list; already crowd favourites in their area. Delhi’s Sidecar was at No. 18, The Bombay canteen at No.35, Copitas Bengaluru at No. 38, The Living Room, Mumbai at No.46, Mumbai’s Americano came in at No. 57, New Delhi’s Home at No. 58 and Hoots’ at No. 60 respectively. Hideway from Goa came in at No. 66 and New Delhi’s PCO came in at No. 94. At number 1 was Hong Kong’s COA. The nine Indian bars were across major cities like Mumbai, Goa, Bengaluru and Delhi, with the maximum number of bars being in Mumbai. The current rankings prove that India is catching up with the global bars.  
Carlos Alcaraz’s uber expensive Rolex

Wimbledon’s new champion Carlos Alcaraz wore an uber-expensive Rolex Cosmograph Daytona while collecting his trophy. The timepiece featured an 18-karat yellow-gold case, a black Cerachrom bezel, and a striking meteorite dial. It also sports Daytona’s tachymetric scale on the bezel and a triple-register chronograph display with a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour counter, and a seconds counter. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters and features a classy black Oysterflex band. 
Gucci’s CEO steps down

In other news, Gucci’s CEO Marco Bizzarri is stepping down after leading the brand since 2015.⁠ As of now, the managing director Jean-François Palus will be the interim CEO.⁠ Bizzarri was instrumental in shaping Gucci as we know it today. He favoured cross-gendered collections, and unified fashion shows, and brought in Alessandro Michele as creative director.⁠

Harrod’s has announced a new member-only club in Shanghai namely The Residence, which will be the first of its kind outside the UK. Making it to this weeks luxury news updates, the new club, , will open by the end of this year on the second floor of Cha House, a central Shanghai heritage building where a Harrods tea room and Piano bar, are already located. It will initially accept only 250 members, with annual fees of $21,000 and upwards. Additionally, members will enjoy access to Gordon Ramsey’s first Shanghai restaurant, rare bottles of Scottish whisky and global concierge services.

Travel news is often one of the most exciting luxury new updates. On Italy’s newest rail service, trains will take days to reach their destinations and tickets will cost thousands of euros. The La Dolce Vita train in Italy will offer a selection of one- to three-night trips from Rome to Sicily for a starting price of €6,000 ($6,500) for two people. En route, passengers will pass through cities like Palermo, Venice and Portofino. The most exclusive cabins will cost at least €25,000 per night.

In Saint-Tropez, a new café has emerged by Louis Vuitton at the White 1921 HotelMichelin-starred chef Arnaud Donckele and pastry chef Maxime Frédéric are at the helm of the restaurant with cuisine inspired by Mediterranean flavors with a French Riviera flare. In the afternoon, guests can stop by for a sweet afternoon treat. Vuitton monogrammed assortments and sculptural ‘Dolce Vita’ cups will be ready and waiting, filled to the brim with ice cream. For dinner, expect anything from shrimp to lamb chops.⁠
