Avatāra in Dubai gets a Michelin Star

In the luxury world for F&B nothing gets more prestigious than bagging a Michelin star. The latest restaurant to bag one in Dubai belongs to an Indian chef. Avatāra is Dubai’s first all-vegetarian fine dining experience, helmed by Chef Rahul Rana. Serving traditional vegetarian delicacies, it joins a fleet of restaurants across the world with its recent Michelin star.
Jacquemus opens a pop-up in Italy’s Lake Como


It’s that time of the year Jacquemus heads to Como, Italy, for their latest pop-up location. The French label took to Instagram to announce the opening of the temporary location. The store opens as Jacquemus has released the second half of its Été collection. In addition to their collection, the Como location will feature items that will only be exclusive to that location. The pop-up is open now through October 16.
Jay Z and Beyonce’s $200 Million Malibu Home

Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z’s Malibu beach estate has created a new record as the most expensive home purchased in California’s history (that too all in cash!). Designed by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, the futuristic mega-mansion is spread across 30,000 square feet. The luxurious home overlooks the ocean, and the Pacific Cove estate features huge grey-toned hallways, a private beach, two swimming pools including an infinity pool that seems to stretch off into the ocean, and Zen water features. It truly can’t get more luxurious, can it?
Pharell’s debut Louis Vuitton show will open Paris Fashion Week

Pharell will present his debut collection for Louis Vuitton on June 20 to open the Paris Men’s Fashion Week. Pharrell was named Maison’s menswear creative director in February, becoming the first designer to follow the late, Virgil Abloh and in a month the world will be privy to the magic of the luxury house headed under Pharrell’s leadership.
Porsche Frozen Berry Taycan



The luxury world for automobiles has a new experiment every week, and this time it’s by Porsche. Symbolic of a time for renewal and the fleeting nature of life, Sakura – also known as cherry blossom – the season is a significant part of the year for many. This year luxury car giant Porsche unveiled a new car to reflect the beauty of the season namely The Frozen Berry Taycan. Painted in a pleasing shade of cherry blossom pink.
Rafael Nadal X Henry Jacques Parfums costs $41,900

Last November Rafael Nadal teamed up with French perfumer Henry Jacques Parfums for two scents titled In All Intimacy. This year they have brought back the collaboration to the luxury world with a trio of fragrances that cost $41,900. Limited to 120 units, the trio of solid scents includes Rafael Nadal No. 1, Rafael Nadal No. 2, and Maria Parello as notes of orange blossom, thyme, jasmine, lavender, bergamot, and citrus take over. To complete the scents is Henry Jacques’ signature 5-grade titanium case with a curved tennis ball-yellow strip.
Ralph Lauren’s first store in Mumbai

When it comes to the luxury world in India, Mumbai has just got its first Ralph Lauren store located in the Phoenix Palladium Mall. The store design is contemporary with rustic oak flooring and planked wood wall panelling paired with antique and vintage-inspired display cases and tables, as well as an eclectic mix of artwork and decorative props. The store aesthetic reflects the same sensibility as the Polo Ralph Lauren brand itself – one that is both classic and casual with a modern, energetic spirit. This new store houses both Women’s and Men’s Collections.
Rolex Milgauss auctioned for US $2.5 million

A rare Rolex watch, the Milgauss fetched a record US$2.5 million at the Phillips Watches Auction, and reportedly it is purchased by a bidder on behalf of Rolex. A similar version from 1958 sold at Christie’s in 2013 for US$357k and another, sold by Phillips in 2022, fetched just over US$320k but this is the most expensive one sold yet. Produced in 1958, it features a black honeycomb dial, a rotating bezel, and a second hand that is shaped like a lightning bolt.
