You can see snow from this newly opened restaurant 1484 by Puro, the highest in the UAE
Soaring to a breathtaking height of almost 2000 metres, Jebel Jais is the highest peak in the UAE. And adventurers and family travellers alike love hanging out here as it has a range of fun activities like the Viewing Deck Park, ice skating, ziplining, camping and more.
This peak is also home to 1484 by Puro, the tallest restaurant in the UAE, which opened this month. It overlooks the Jebel Jais range, where it snows in the winters.

This, by-reservation only, restaurant is 1,484 metres above sea level and serves a mean fare – breakfast, main course, desserts and beverages including wines, beers, cognacs, iced teas, mocktails and coffees.
Keeping the experience as exclusive as possible to its regional specialties, 1484 by Puro sources fresh, local produce to whip up its recipes. But, for the well-heeled travellers with a diverse taste palate, the menu here is a balanced mix of Mediterranean and international dishes – think traditional Shakshuka and healthy seasonal fruits, berries, granola and pancakes for breakfast. And, Atlantic Salmon, braised beef ribs and duck confit for a full-blown lunch/dinner course.

The interiors of 1484 are minimal, modern and roomy. The terrace area is decked with wooden floors and all-glass panes, matched with all-white furniture.
