One of the country’s prominent lifestyle companies, Sarita Handa, has launched an e-store.
The online store offers a big collection of embroidered cushion covers, bedspreads, quilts and euros, a range of embroidered fabrics, hand-embroidered handbag collections, robes and bath sets, organisers and pouches for travel and more.
The e-store also has a curated special Autumn-Winter 2020 collection, which includes products with Ikat, Suzani, and Palampore work, bright coloured cushion covers, elaborate pick-stitch and hand-quilted patterned bedspreads.
A special range of embroidered cushions, rugs inspired by Marrakech and collection of cushions inspired by Japanese art forms are also part of the AW ‘20 edit.
A lot of accessories on their e-store have been crafted from leftover embroidered, jacquard, print or textured fabrics, that have been colour blocked and saved in their warehouse.
“We wanted to establish an immersive digital experience for our customers with the kind of products that we have designed for this e-shop; especially now when everything has become not only efficient, but effective with technology,” said Suparna Handa, Managing Director, Sarita Handa. She adds that they will continue to showcase the quality, craftsmanship and incredible diversity of design made in India, at all times; thereby promoting the ‘hand of the artisan’.
