The automotive brand has some extra excitement to accompany its recent podium finishes at Formula One. It has announced a new sports car the DB12. This V8 coupe is the successor to the Aston Martin DB11, the svelte model launched by the British brand in 2016. The top speed will be 202 mph, with a zero-to-60 mph sprint of 3.5 seconds, the company says. Unveiled at the Cannes International Film Festival, the DB12 combines the sleekness of the DB11 with the commanding presence of the DBS, resulting in a sporty-looking car that exudes refinement. Yet another solid player when it comes to new luxury car launches with state-of-the-art infotainment, the car fuses cutting-edge screen technology with the intuition of analogue controls.

Luxury brand Bally has named Simone Bellotti as the design director of the Swiss brand. The appointment follows the exit of Rhuigi Villaseñor earlier this month, who held the title of creative director and joined the company in January last year. Bellotti’s first collection for Bally will be presented with a show during Milan Fashion Week in September.

Dubai-based developer Binghatti has partnered with luxury car brand Bugatti to unveil the world’s first Bugatti Residences in Business Bay, Dubai. The luxury building is not only replete with the latest design but also has car lifts for their penthouse owners.  The residential tower, spanning 43 floors, will consist of 182 units, including 171 Riviera Mansions and 11 Sky Mansion Penthouses, and the prices for these prestigious residences start at $5 million.  Step into the gold-hued foyer, bathed in elegant lighting and towering glass walls that set the tone for the building’s sumptuous ambience. Up above, a Riviera-inspired beach awaits, offering a taste of Cannes within Dubai’s embrace.

Elon Musk has been in the news for multiple reasons in the recent past, and adding to the buzz is his regained title. Musk has retaken the title of the world’s wealthiest person. The Tesla CEO surpassed luxury tycoon Bernard Arnault after shares of Arnault’s LVMH fell 2.6% in Paris trading. Musk and the 74-year-old Frenchman have been neck-and-neck for the top spot this year but the former seems to have secured this spot.
Gautam Adani is among the world’s Top 20 billionaires

The chairman of Adani Group Gautam Adani has again entered in the list of Top 20 world billionaires. Adani is now amongst the top 20 billionaires in the world. This can be attributed to his recent net worth gain by $4.38 billion to $64.2 billion. According to the report, Adani is number 18 on the list.

From the coffee cup to the wrist. Hublot and Nespresso Big Bang Unico’s new Nespresso Origin is the first watch made of recycled Nespresso coffee grounds and is a limited edition of 200 pieces. Capsules. Hublot has collaborated with SINGTEX, one of Nespresso’s partners who was already using recycled coffee grounds to produce a fabric called S.Café. The recycled coffee grounds from capsules are transformed into watch straps – a rubber version and a second Velcro fabric version. For the fabric strap, Hublot has collaborated with SINGTEX  to produce a fabric called S.Café. The recycled aluminium capsules become the case, bezel, crown and pushers.

Jacquemus and Nike reveal their second sneaker collaboration, the JF1. ⁠ While the upper resembles the Nike Air Force 1 in the form of white perforated leather with matching laces to match and a silver dubrae, the rest of the shoe is distinctly different. The new sneaker features wraparound nylon cording weaves in and around the silhouette’s sole unitThe JF1 releases June 13 on the Jaquemus web store. ⁠

Trust Mercedes to talk about filling all the gaps when it comes to luxury lifestyle. The car giant will launch a new line of high-end electric camper vans targeting a growing market for luxury private vans. The German manufacturer will add the new battery-powered mid-size and large camper vans to its line-up once its new platform for light commercial EVs starts output in 2026, it said.

A Patek Philippe watch worn by the last emperor of China’s Qing Dynasty was sold for a whopping $6.2 million at an auction in Hong Kong. The auction took place at Phillips’ new headquarters at Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural and the watch is one of a very small number of known Patek Philippe Reference 96 Quantieme Lune timepieces. It was gifted by Puyi to his Russian interpreter when he was imprisoned by the Soviet Union, the auction house said. An anonymous buyer bought the rare Patek Philippe watch that had belonged to Aisin-Gioro Puyi and is said to be the most complex timepiece the luxury watchmaker has ever created.
