Disney has the power to transport you into a magical world. But when fiction and reality collide, it’s a moment of sheer amazement. Porsche and Pixar Animations Studios have come together to create a special real-life Porsche inspired by Sally Carrera from Walt Disney’s hit animated film Cars. Named the 911 Sally Special, the car, like Sally Carrera herself, is unique. Only one 911 Sally Special will ever be made – and its creation marks the first time Pixar collaborated on such a project.

Upon first look, you will almost be taken by surprise to see the resemblance between the on-screen and real-life versions. The 911 Sally Special comes as close to the fictional character with its hand-applied, multi-dimensional Sallybluemetallic colourway.
The making of Sally
Porsche interior designer Daniela Milošević led the team that worked with Pixar to design the new blue colour as well as the vehicle’s interior. This also makes it the only existing car to ever feature this hue.

The iconic shade Sallybluemetallic details can be found throughout the interiors of the 911 Sally Special as well. From a special Pepita houndstooth fabric upholstery, chalk leather and speed blue stitching, and even the car keys and clock are detailed with a Sally Special touch.

Adding further to the aura of the character, the car sports features a Ka-Chow! (Lightning McQueen’s famous catchphrase) mode. The Cars logo is embossed on the door cards, a special graphic of the character is embossed on the dashboard, Sally Special is embossed on the door sills, and more.

Tech specifications
The 911 Sally Special is based on the Carrera GTS and comes with a manual gearbox. This special feature not only heightens the driving experience but also references Sally’s love for being on the road.
