To commemorate a decade of the Panamera model, Porsche has launched a special Panamera 4 10 years edition. The anniversary special car is all-black with gold wheels and is priced at ₹1,60,46,000 (ex-showroom) in India.
The first-generation Panamera was introduced in 2009 as the brand’s new super saloon, which offered four doors and four seats.
The German carmaker had, at that time, received a lot of flak for the way the car looked, but performance-wise, it checked all the boxes. In its tenth year of production, Panamera has so far sold more than 2,50,000 models worldwide.
A combination of a family saloon and the beasty performance of a sports car, the newest anniversary edition comes with satin-gloss white gold metallic 21-inch wheels and features white gold metallic ‘Panamera 10’ logos on the front doors, door sills and on the dash.
The car’s interiors come in in all-black leather upholstery with a contrast of white gold stitching. The LED matrix headlights with the all-black and gold exterior give the car a stunning look.
The anniversary special car has 14-way comfort seats, panoramic sunroof and Bose surround sound system and is equipped with 2.9-litre, biturbo V6-engine, which goes from 0-100kmph in just 5.3 seconds with a top speed of 262kmph.
The car is equipped with lane change assist, PDLS Plus, power steering plus park assist, three-chamber air suspension, Porsche active suspension management (PASM).
