Legendary footballer Christiano Ronaldo needs no introduction. Ronaldo loves exquisitely designed watches – many of which come with a hefty price tag. Adding to his prestigious collection, the latest addition is Ronaldo’s new custom-made Jacob & Co namely, Heart of CR7 Baguette. The timepiece comes with a whopping price tag of $117,000 (approx INR 94.5 lakhs) and was gifted to him during the opening of a new jewellery store in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The remarkable Heart of CR7 Baguette features Cristiano’s image on the field and is a celebration-inspired watch with 26 baguette-cut white diamonds. Being a limited edition from the luxury watch manufacturer, its two vertical pillars are personalized to include the image and symbols of Cristiano Ronaldo. While the left pillar of the movement takes the shape of Ronaldo himself, the right one bears the CR7 logo and his signature, both engraved in rose gold. The overall, skeleton barrel cover is shaped like a football and another image of Cristiano Ronaldo wearing his iconic, number 7 jersey, is silver-printed on the case back’s tainted sapphire crystal.

The Jacob & Co Heart of CR7 Baguette watch is limited to just 499 timepieces and has 26 baguette-cut white diamonds in the bezel. However, what caught our attention was the striking green colour designed to match the colours of Saudi Arabia’s flag. The watch is a custom timepiece that’s part of a new collection celebrating the iconic moments from Ronaldo’s career.

Previously, the star has also been seen wearing an exclusive jewel-laden watch by Jacob & Co. Ronaldo was given the $780,000 Jacob and Co watch to celebrate his move to Saudi Arabia. The dark green watch does not get its distinctive shade from emeralds, rather it has 338 rare gemstones embedded in the watch face, including the distinctive tsavorite stones.

The ‘Heart of CR7 Baguette’ is part of a special collection which consists of four watches. These include ‘Flight of CR7 Baguette’ that’s finished in rose gold and has a red strap and is priced at USD 145,000 (approximately INR 1.19 crores). The final two wristwatches, ‘Flight of CR7’ and ‘Heart of CR7’, are more affordable in comparison, the primary reason being the lack of diamonds used in their design. They will cost USD 56,000 (approximately INR 46 lakhs) and USD 28,000 (approximately INR 23 lakhs). Ronaldo is also the star striker of the Al Nassr football team and the Jacob & Co x CR7 Epic X Heart of CR7 is truly a special collaboration for many reasons.
