Instead, we saw renditions of bold hues, unique silhouettes and standout statement pieces. One of our favourite trends was the return of oversized handbags replacing micro bags with YSL’s Icare maxi shopping bag showing up almost everywhere. Elsewhere, elegant add-ons like silk scarves, printed gloves and stockings became a frequent accessories both on the runway and the streets.
