On Wednesday Kylie Jenner announced the launch of her own swimwear line. The 24 year-old billionaire, already the owner of successful cosmetics company Kylie Cosmetics, posted this ombre cut-out piece as a sneak peek to her Kylie Swim collection.

Watercolour artist Esha Lal brings her botanical creations to life with her swimwear collection. All the prints on her swimsuits are original illustrations of her artwork. The designer is said to be inspired by nature, having grown up around the forests, gardens, mountains and tea estates of Dehradun. The label was launched in May 2019, and the swimwear primarily uses fabric from Carvico Italy. Carvico uses ethical production techniques that promote environmental responsibility.

Brainchild of Aakriti Grover, this made in India label specialises in swimwear, resort wear , athleisure and nightwear. The brand is all about bright colours, contemporary cuts and silhouettes for the modern Indian woman. They follow the made-to-order model, where all pieces are produced only upon purchase, reducing waste and minimising leftover stock. Their core fabrics are made from sustainable fibres that have been recycled from a range of post-consumer wastes including plastic.
