Luxury car company Lexus’ 7th generation Lexus ES 300h gets a Facelift with the all-new Lexus ES Facelift which was recently launched in India on 7th October. With minor changes to the design and a whole range of new amenities, the new Facelift looks like a sleek and luxurious buy.
While the overall design of the new model remains the same as its predecessors, the new Lexus Facelift gets quite a few tweaks in terms of design and features. One of the most noticeable changes in the new model is the front grille. Instead of the typical mesh pattern grille, the ES Facelift gets a new spindle grille along with newly designed sleek headlamps, and new dual-tone dark grey metallic 18-inch alloy wheels.
Under the hood the new Facelift is powered by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a 16kWh battery, producing a combined output of 215bhp and 221Nm of torque. With a top speed of 180kmph, the car can sprint from 0-100kmph in a matter of 8.9 seconds.
The cabin too remains more or less the same, now adorned in a new walnut material upholstery. Walnut trim inserts with black and brown seats, motorised front seats with memory and reclining and ventilated seats in the rear.
The centre console gets the most tweaks with a new free-standing 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, and an air purifier, as well as a 360-degree camera, are some of the exciting features.
Available in two exterior colour options- Sonic Iridium and Sonic Chrome, the new Lexus ES facelift comes in two trims, priced at Rs 56.65 lakh for the Exquisite and Rs 61.85 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, India) for the Luxury variant.
