Owned by Divya and Kartekeya Myadam, this Hyderabad home is sophisticated, modern and lively. Interiors have been done by Architect P. Jayakiran of Shilpalaya Associates, following the clients’ brief to make it look opulent and sophisticated.
Spread across an area of 3,350 sq ft, the home was four bedrooms. Two bedrooms have been combined into a master bedroom with separate his and hers walk-in closets and bathrooms.
The third bedroom has been designed as an informal audio-video lounge, which connects to an indoor-outdoor bar deck.
The fourth bedroom now functions as a formal living space.
The other areas of the home include a lift lobby, entrance foyer, living room, dining area and wet and dry kitchen.
It has been designed in a way that the utility and other service areas are not visible from common areas.
Neutral tones are used in the entire space accentuated by splashes of bright colours in the furniture.
The bespoke furniture is executed with a lot of detail by Colonial Collections Mumbai in vivid shades of emerald, red, blue, green, gold, black and unique oxblood colour.

Dark tones of wood have been used for the built-in wardrobes and statement pieces of furniture, which provide a sharp contrast to the beige Italian marble flooring.
A carefully sourced collection of chandeliers from Timothy Oulton London and some blown glass light fixtures from Klove Studio make the home look more elegant.
