At one end of a garden, a family was playing badminton, some distance away a couple of friiends were celebrating a friend’s wedding and we, spread out on our chatai (mat), were playing Snakes & Ladders.
This entire experienece felt surreal for sometime. It felt strange to be out in the open, at a five-star hotel after several months of being cooped up in the house and seeing fellow human beings have fun.
It, nevertheless, was also extremely heart-warming to see fellow humans have fun and enjoy with each other, in a safe, outdoorsy environment, at a garden facing the Powai Lake, in Mumbai.
