1. Oscar films (Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, Ford v Ferarri) (2019-2020)
In a recent conference call with film critic Rajeev Masand, Deepika Padukone talks about how she’s been keeping herself busy through the lockdown and recommends a list of movies to watch. Young, upcoming actress Janhvi Kapoor posted an Instagram story about how she’s catching up on her favourite films during the lockdown. As can be seen, she’s currently in love with Guru Dutt and Madhubala’s movie, Mr. and Mrs. ’55. It’s a Bollywood rom-com that you could surely enjoy with your family on Amazon Prime.
3. Marriage Story (2019)
Film critic Rajeev Masand recommends watching an academy award winner movie, Marriage story in his recent interview with actor Arjun Kapoor. He praises Adam Driver’s and Scarlett Johansson’s performances. It’s available on Netflix and is surely worth a watch!
4. The loudest voice (2019)
This one-season TV show was recommended by Siddharth Malhotra in one of his interviews with Rajeev Masand. Actor Russell Crowe’s performance seems to have left everyone speechless! This show addresses the issues relevant today, such as media’s influence on the American population during elections, wars or a pandemic. Find this show on Netflix.
5. Between Two Ferns: The movie (2019)
This particular movie was recommended by Boman Irani, yet again in an interview with Rajeev Masand. The story revolves around a series of hilarious interviews with different celebrities and famous artists. Log onto Netflix and grab some popcorn, because this comedy-drama is sure to lighten up your mood!
