Alia Bhatt named the first Indian Global Ambassador for Gucci

After her successful debut at the Met Gala this year, Alia Bhatt is set to tackle the global fashion space now. The actor has added another feather to her cap as the Italian fashion house Gucci has named her their first Indian Global Ambassador. To mark the occasion, the actress, producer and entrepreneur was captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag.

Alia Bhatt will make her first appearance as Global Brand Ambassador on the occasion of the House’s upcoming Cruise 2024 fashion show in Seoul, Korea, at Gyeongbokgung Palace on May 16. To announce her new role Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to express her excitement and her post read, ” I’m honoured to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but at a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together.”

Her advocation in favour of self-expression and inclusivity in contemporary society speaks to the House’s core values and encompasses the brand’ motif of fostering cultural empowerment within the next generation of creative talent. Alia Bhat’s performance at the recent Golden Globes nominated film RRR has also been spoken about immensely. The star has also become a familiar face in Hollywood with Heart of Stone.
