The grandest of them all, Met Gala, the annual fundraiser for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art sees A-list socialites, actors, models, musicians and singers in their quirky/fashionable best on the red carpet every May. Although the event started back in 1948, it was during the 70s that the gala witnessed high-risk glamour.
