The sleek, new BMW X5 Black Vermilion is, both, stylish and suave

BMW recently unveiled a new limited edition 2022 BMW X5 Black Vermilion, which is an updated version of the BMW X5 xDrive40i model. In this new limited edition, the luxury SUV gets a blacked-out appearance with bright, eye-catching red accents.

Exterior

One of the main highlights of the new BMW Black Vermillion is the interplay between black and red colours. The exterior of the car is painted in metallic black, with red and black kidney grilles, and Orbit Grey 22-inch, double-spoke 742M light-alloy wheels with red M Sport brake callipers. The bumpers get an aggressive style update with an extended Shadowline exterior trim, and new darkened LED headlights with Laserlight in the signature blue X design.

Interior

The interior follows the black and red colour scheme as well with Individual Full Merino Black leather with red piping and contrast stitching for the front as well as rear seats. To mark the exclusivity of the model, the cupholder cover comes with a finely crafted edition logo in an Individual Piano Black finish.

Entertainment

The new X5 Black Vermilion special edition comes with a leather dashboard, heated steering wheel and Harman Kardon audio system, as well as a premium package including remote engine start, head-up display and gesture control.

Engine

Since the Black Vermillion is based on the X5’s xDrive40i model, the engine remains unchanged. A 3.0L, 6-cylinder inline engine powers 265bhp and 620Nm of torque going from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds.

Price

As of now, the X5 will be available only in North America selling just 350 models of the limited edition X5 Black Vermillion starting at $83,295.
