This 8,000-sq-ft Kolkata home is designed by A Square Designs. Its decor theme is luxe and minimal, which is accentuated with refined décor pieces like watercolour art, illuminating yellow tapestry and statement lighting pieces.

As soon as one enters the apartment, they are led into a vibrant blue and white foyer, which blends seamlessly into the oversized drawing room.

The drawing room has a warmer tone with two separate seating areas in brown and cream colours along with a bar set towards the balcony.

The dining area features a 10-seater marble dining table with a striking lighting piece hanging above the centre of the table. The area is also decorated with a few exquisite art pieces hanging on the wall.

Further on, is an informal family room. It is the entertainment zone of the apartment and is fitted with an AV system as well as a serene prayer room.

The apartment has a total of four bedrooms, two on either side of the family room. The ones on the right belong to the sons, while the master bedroom and guest room are on the left.

The son’s rooms are decorated in two very different themes. The first one, with a blue and grey bed, is furnished with wooden flooring in dark walnut, and a white brick textured wall. The second room with a bright yellow and tan bed is furnished in Bronze Armani marble from Antolini.

The master bedroom features a brilliant wall to ceiling window, as well as a smaller window by the bed, allowing enough natural light to brighten the room. The bed is a cosy king-size one enfolded in velvet blue with a matching bedside table and couch.

Finally, the guest bedroom was designed in a bright cream and white theme, furnished with marble flooring. This room also features a balcony decorated with faux grass and a few potted plants, overlooking the lush greenery.
