Cadillac introduces the all new Celestiq
Futuristic, bold and eye-catching. Cadillac’s newest luxury car, the Celestiq, is a vision of the future. It is the first all-electric ultra-luxury sedan by the automotive giant, and it doesn’t fail to impress with its exteriors and interiors. The Cadillac Celestiq is a remarkable fastback that boasts 655 horsepower and comfortably seats four passengers. It is arguably the most extravagant vehicle ever released by Cadillac and stands out for its extensive customisation options. The all-electric Celestiq marks the brand’s first hand-built production car since the 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham.

With this car, Cadillac is bringing back the grandeur of its classic 1960s land yacht era, the time when American cars were big, bold, and full of personality. The Celestiq is aimed at competing with some of the most luxurious names in the world, like Bentley and Rolls-Royce. When you first see the car, you’ll notice its clean, elegant shape. It’s a four-door hatchback with a long, low profile that gives it a modern, almost futuristic appearance. Interestingly, its wheelbase (the distance between the front and back wheels), is even longer than the massive Cadillac Escalade SUV.

On the inside, it is a luxury paradise. The back seats are incredibly spacious and come with multiple adjustments, built-in massage functions, and even your own climate controls. There’s an 8-inch screen in the centre that allows each passenger to set their personal comfort level, including how much sunlight they want from the large glass roof. Speaking of the roof, it’s made from advanced smart glass that is divided into four sections, allowing each passenger to control how light or dark it is above their seat. The technology behind this feature is so unique that the glass itself travels from Peru to Michigan before it’s fitted into the car. What’s more? The interior is finished with top-quality materials. You’ll find hand-polished aluminium buttons, a 3D-printed steering wheel casing, and even sustainable features like leather flooring and mats made from eucalyptus fibres.

Performance-wise, the Celestiq doesn’t disappoint. With 655 horsepower and 646 pound-feet of torque, it can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 130 mph. On a full charge, it can travel up to 303 miles. And if you’re in a hurry, it can gain 75 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging. Isn’t that just what we needed?

Despite being hand-assembled, the Celestiq is Cadillac’s most high-tech car ever. All these cutting-edge features do come at a price though, the starting cost is a whopping $340,000.
