Thom Browne’s sharply tailored universe arrives at Selfridges with a distinctive retail takeover celebrating the designer’s reinterpretation of the iconic GEL KAYANO 14 sneaker created with ASICS. Installed within the Corner Shop on Oxford Street, the activation unfolds like a surreal corporate dreamscape, where Browne’s signature precision meets the performance heritage of Japanese sportswear engineering.

The centrepiece of the collaboration is the meticulously reworked GEL KAYANO 14, a silhouette that merges technical running performance with Browne’s unmistakable tailoring codes. The immersive installation extends the designer’s fascination with uniformity and repetition. Window displays are constructed from sculptural stacks of paper that echo Browne’s iconic four bar motif, gradually forming architectural shapes that cradle the sneaker as if it were an artefact. Inside, stainless steel desks, reflective ceiling panels and office inspired elements recreate a stylised mid century American workspace, reinforcing the brand’s signature “corporate fantasia.”
