This weekend saw the Critics Choice Awards take place in Los Angeles’ Fairmont Century Plaza, while the 75th EE British Academy Film Awards were at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The This Is Us star wore a Jason Wu vivid green ballgown for the Critics Choice Awards. The strapless ballgown left her shoulders bare. Thompson pulled up her hair in a low ponytail, allowing the exaggerated bow on the bodice of the gown to shine.

The Great actress wore a golden strapless ballgown by Oscar de la Renta. Delineating her waist, the gown expanded into a poufy skirt embroidered with sequins. Fanning accessorised the sparkly ensemble with simple studs and a gold bracelet, alongside a bold red lip with winged eyeliner.
Halle Berry

Actress Halle Berry attended the starry night to receive her SeeHer Award, an honour given to women who advocate gender equality, portray characters with authenticity, defy stereotypes and push boundaries. Berry wore a black velvet Dolce & Gabbana suit over a white mesh corset top. Her hairstyle is what drew most attention due to its parallels to the one worn by her character Storm from X-Men.

The 31-year-old actress shimmered on the red carpet in a custom champagne hued Dolce & Gabbana gown, that she paired with romantic side-swept waves. Stewart was nominated for best actress in a drama at the Critics’ Choice Awards for her role as the late Princess Diana in Spencer.

The inimitable Lady Gaga attended both the Critics Choice Awards as well as the BAFTAs, both in eye-catching ensembles. Nominated for her performance in House of Gucci, the actress turned up in none other than Gucci. The gown featured a black bra like top and was combined with a sheer lace shrug. A sweeping gold skirt with jewel details at the waist completed the daring getup.
Mandy Moore

Looking ethereal in an off-white Elie Saab Haute Couture gown, Mandy Moore took to the red carpet. Knot details the straps, a plunging neckline and sheer white drapes along the side, gave the look a bohemian feel. The flowy number was fully encrusted with silver beading, which Moore paired with a subtle face of makeup.

Nominated for best actress in a comedy series for her role in the Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, Gomez looked radiant in the halter gown, which featured a long train. The dress was paired with a sleek ponytail that highlighted her statement Boucheron diamond earring.
Venus Williams

The tennis superstar wore Versace to the awards where King Richard, the biographical drama film based on her family’s life, was nominated for best picture. The deep V-neck silver gown was cinched at the waist with two slits down the front. Williams went for a monotone silver look as she paired this with silver high heels and a sparkly silver clutch.

Jones who was up for the leading actress award thanks to CODA, graced the red carpet in a Versace gold gown. The floor-length metallic dress featured several pleated details with a halter neck and a flowing skirt.

Embodying old Hollywood glam, Lady Gaga got her A-game to the BAFTAs. She was swathed in a Ralph Lauren custom emerald green gown, which reportedly took 150 hours to make and required 50 meters of velvet and silk taffeta. The House of Gucci actress added bling to her look via a Tiffany & Co. diamond-and-emerald archival necklace and earrings, plus a bracelet and ring from the 2022 Tiffany Blue Book Collection.
Millie Bobby Brown

Brown donned a gothic look for the BAFTAs. The velvet gown was complemented with panels of sheer lace, and the actress wore a bandeau of the same lace inside the plunging V-neck dress, designed by Louis Vuitton.
